It's happened. I've already survived to my first week of University (kind of 😉 ) and I'm not going to lie, it was quite hard to come back to routine and all that going-back-to-uni comes with. I was not really prepared for this. As I've had the summer of my life, I'm not really complaining about going back to how things were but I'm definitely travelling in the upcoming months and I'm taking you with me!
Since last week of August, all I've seen around my Bloglovin' feed are Back to School/College/ UNI posts. To be honest, I'm not really in the mood to talk about going back to UNI and all I've bought for my comeback. Because basically I haven't bought anything yet 👍🏻 but what I can do is talk through all my makeup staples during this month.
September is a very tricky month for makeup because is the first contact you made with the real world of work/school. I'm particularly quite tanned this year so I'm currently using a high coverage foundation on a shade slightly darker to the one I normally use. I truly recommend Rimmel London Wake me Up Foundation or Sleek Be Beautiful Blemish Balm. The reason I use high coverage bases during this time of the year is basically because I already find it hard to find a foundation that matches my actual colour skin and setting powders are not good for my skin during these transitional months. To finish, I always apply a little bit of bronzer to my cheeks from the Essence Contouring Palette.
My eye makeup is minimal. I use neutral eyeshadows or the shimmery ones in my Marc Jacobs palette. My most frequent 'go-to' is the L' Oreal Superliner So Couture Eyeliner. It's very simple and easy to use. For lashes, Better Than Sex mascara by Too Faced is becoming one of my favourite products again. My makeup look ends up applying a light pink lipstick such as YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain Plump Up.
