I believe it's official. I've got a bit of a tan. I'VE GOT A BIT OF A TAN (did you hear that?). If you didn't get it, I'm very excited about it. There's nothing I crave more during these months than a nice tan. I love wearing white, blue and light pink clothes in summer and I think being tanned is an essential to pull them off. But with being tanned comes another problem: the vast majority of my foundations are for very pale skin. So there're two options: either I buy another foundation (which wouldn't be a problem, to be honest) or I just purchase a bronzer. I decided to go with the latest.
I think I've never been so excited to post a review and I believe it's because of the result of this product I'm going to ramble about. I've been using a KIKO MILANO bronzer for ages, one that's sadly discontinued. It was circle shaped and looked very pretty. Anyways, the thing is that I trust this brand when it comes to finding the perfect bronzer. However, after I took a long walk around the shop I didn't see anything that I liked so I decided to ask the girl who worked there for some advice. It was not the best decision but it kinda help me find the perfect bronzing product.
You know I'm just a makeup enthusiast and no beauty guru but let me tell you that that woman didn't know how to apply a bronzer. I looked like a proper burnt french toast when I left the store. But because I'm very stubborn, I decided to give the Summer 2.0 Baked Bronzer a go. And that was THE BEST decision. I couldn't be happier! I mean, the packaging looked absolutely gorgeous and the shade looks great on my skin.
This was not a cheap bronzer. But it is a good one indeed. It blends beautifully on my skin and matches my tan (I can't believe I'm saying this) really well. There are actually two shades to choose from: Sun Celebration Honey (which is the one I got) and Mediterranean Tan (which looks like a kids highlighter, lolz). Apart from looking like kids makeup, I didn't go for Mediterranean Tan because pink is not a colour that looks good on my face. SCH (sun celebration honey) is a very golden and glowy tone. It gives you a sun kissed look that it's what I'm really going for this summer! I can assure you KIKO MILANO is a great makeup brand and very affordable, whatever you buy you won't regret it!
What are your go to brands for bronzer? Have you tried any other great products from KIKO MILANO?
