How obvious are your under eye bags? Because mine are very noticeable. Everyone knows if I've skipped concealer doing my makeup or if I got a bad night sleep. Therefore, hence the importance of concealer in my makeup routine. Without a doubt, I look totally different when I've got concealer on.
I think I've tried a fair share of concealers. I've been using cosmetics for a little over seven years so you can imagine what I'm trying to say. At first, I thought it was pointless purchasing high - end concealers. They were ridiculously expensive and I didn't even use that much product. But obviously as years have gone by I've also noticed how important it is to take care of my under eye bags. Blooming heck, I've even got skincare products for that area now!
I think the cheapest makeup brand I've bought concealers from is Essence. I mean, their products are not that bad actually though Rimmel London and MaxFactor are probably my staple drugstore brands to got to. But let's be honest. Once you try out a high - end concealer you'll never want to go back to those (except with the Collection Lasting Perfection one, that's an incredible drugstore product we're talking about), specially if we're talking about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
it was basically
a no brainer decision to get it
I'd heard so many good things about this product that it was basically a no brainer decision to get it. I was also looking for something different from what I had previously tried and a high coverage product. There's been a cool trend going on about this concealer giving you the Kim Kardashian effect (under eye highlights and glow) so I was quite curious about it.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with the results. It's really easy to blend in with a concealer brush as well as your fingers! NARS have got this "hands - policy" about blending in your makeup with your fingers so their formulas are very easy to work with even if they're thick (which is the case).
NARS products in general are really good quality and they help my skin hydrate crazy amounts. One of my all time favourite foundations (as you'd know if you're not new to my blog) is actually the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and I've also been enjoying their tinted moisturizers (which I'll try to feature in an upcoming summer makeup routine).
